CDI is very pleased to announce that Captain Mike Banon will be joining CDI as an additional Technical Manager, in mid-December 2016.
This is due to ongoing growth and expansion of the institute and increases the number of CDI staff to five.
Mike comes from MOL Tankship Management (Europe) Ltd , where he currently holds the position of Fleet Superintendent (Operations). Mike has 30 plus years of extensive experience in chemical tanker operations; holds a Class 1 Master Mariner Certificate with DCE for Chemicals and Oils; and 7 years command experience on Chemical Tankers.
He is also a qualified and experienced Lead Auditor.
We look forward to Mike joining the CDI team later this year.
